4. What is the diff between RB, RE & RU series?
These common designations (standardized by brands like THK and IKO) tell you how the bearing is built:
- RB Series: Separable outer ring with a solid inner ring. Best when you need high rotation accuracy on the inner ring.
- RE Series: Separable inner ring with a solid outer ring. Best when the outer ring is the part that will be rotating.
- RU Series: Both rings are solid with pre-drilled mounting holes. Easiest to install (no specialized housing flanges needed).
