Thrust roller bearings

Thrust roller bearings are heavy-duty axial bearings specifically engineered to accommodate substantially higher axial loads than thrust ball bearings. Their roller-based design provides a larger contact surface between rolling elements and raceways, resulting in improved load distribution and enhanced rigidity.

Several configurations are available to meet different application requirements.

Cylindrical Roller Thrust Bearings

These bearings provide very high axial load capacity and excellent stiffness. They are commonly used in machine tools, industrial gearboxes and heavy machinery where axial loads are significant.

Spherical Roller Thrust Bearings

Spherical roller thrust bearings can accommodate heavy axial loads while also tolerating a certain degree of shaft misalignment. This makes them particularly suitable for mining, construction and metallurgical equipment operating under difficult conditions.
